Hawaiian Half Dollar
The 1928 Hawaiian Centennial Half Dollar is viewed as one of the key dates to a complete collection of classic silver commemorative coins. The maximum authorized mintage was just 10,000 pieces, most of which were distributed on the islands.
The obverse features a portrait of Captain James Cook, while the reverse features a native chief of Hawaii with hand outstretched.
